WestClub

WestClub, division of Westworks, is a social and
recreational club, and a fresh start for people living with and recovering
from a mental illness. This service is full of activities that encourage
members to simply have fun and enjoy themselves, play, creativity, self
expression and a sense of hope are fostered by everyone involved.
The service give priority to people aged
between 16 and 65 years of age who are living with a mental illness.The
Club has branches in Penrith,
Katoomba and Windsor.
WestClub is seen as a vital step to integrate people living with a mental
illness back into the community.
Members are encouraged to be active and help
shape the future of the club to make it bigger and better.
All aspects of membership is treated with
utmost respect and confidentiality .Safety is an integral part of WestClub
and everyone is expected to work together to ensure a health and safe
environment for everyone to enjoy.
There are some small charges associated with
tea, coffee and activities. Some general activities are listed below,
